The School

The Academia Británica Cuscatleca (ABC) is a selective, coeducational bi-lingual and bi-cultural school from Pre-Kinder to Grade 12 situated in El Salvador. The school has some 1,300 students in the Primary and Secondary Schools. The student body is mainly Salvadorian with an increasing number of international students. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools and is an International Baccalaureate World School. The language of instruction throughout the school is predominantly English with Spanish being used for a small number of classes. The ABC is an accredited testing centre for IGCSE and IB diploma examinations.

The ABC is situated on a beautiful 13 acre site with science laboratories, libraries, a theatre, a Performing Arts Centre, a large multi-purpose auditorium, swimming pools and physical education facilities.

There is an emphasis on technology in the curriculum and the school has over 280 Windows XP and Mac OS Personal Computers all on a Fast Ethernet network; Wireless Network units fitted; Mail Server with over 2,000 accounts; all students and staff users with Roaming Profiles System allowing a customised working environment on any terminal.
